Brief description:

The paternity allowance shall be paid to the worker or self-employed in the following cases:
• the child's father on 10 calendar days' leave granted due to the birth of the child. This leave must be used up to the age of two months of the child;
• one of the parents who has adopted out-of-family care for former children under 18 and to whom the employer has granted 10 calendar days of leave due to the adoption of the child.
