Brief description:
The service is required in cases where two or more tenants of local government residential spaces are willing to perform a mutual exchange of residential spaces.
After receiving and examining the documents, a recommendation regarding the exchange of residential space shall be issued to the client in the case of a favourable decision and, if necessary, an extract from the minutes of the sitting of the Committee for the Exchange of Residential Spaces. In the event of an unfavourable decision, an extract from the minutes of the sitting of the Committee for the Exchange of Residential Spaces.
The customer shall refer to the operator of the residential house in question with a recommendation on the exchange of the residential area:
SIA “Riga House Manager” or SIA “Riga City Building” to establish rental legal relations.
In case the residential house is not managed by the Riga Housing Manager or SIA “Riga City Building”, the rental legal relationship with the customer is established by the Riga City Council Housing and Environment Department.
