Brief description:
It is possible to consult the Cadastre data regarding any immovable property, construction, land unit, a group of premises in Latvia at any time of the day, as well as to search for properties according to the owner's data - how many and what properties belong to the individual. The search of properties by name and registration number of a legal person is available to everyone, while, by name and surname of a natural person, only on appropriate grounds, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Disclosure of Information, in the Law on the Processing of Natural Persons Data and in the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 201679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 restrictions imposed on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
If the Cadastre data describing the properties is required on a regular basis, it is possible to enter into a subscription agreement for the portal www.kadastrs.lv and browse the data of interest in the authorised part of the portal.
When entering into a subscription agreement, the user of the portal kadastrs.lv, in addition to the geospatial data available at public level (Address spatial data, estate value zoning map), has the option in the map browser:
– browse the Cadastre spatial data in full;
– browse through thematic cards created by the VZD;
- use the Cadastre Data Selection Tool for selecting data from cadastre objects according to the following parameters:
– units of land – according to the designation of the cadastre, area, type of use, ruling agricultural land quality assessment balls, target of use, land unit is/is not built up;
- parts of the unit of land - according to the designation of the cadastre;
- buildings - according to the designation of the cadastre, area, main type of use, type of construction, year of commencement of operation, number of surface floors, number of underground floors,...

– topographic maps at a scale of 1:10 000 (rural area);
– site name information (geographical names).
