Brief description:
An opinion regarding the division of a residential house into apartment properties and the calculation of the intended parts of the joint property shall be prepared if the owner of the residential house wishes to divide the residential house into apartment properties and register them in the Land Register as independent properties.

The whole residential house shall be divided into residential properties and the shares of the joint property included in the property of the calculation apartment shall be calculated if it is registered in the Cadastre as the only residential house in the particular immovable property (except residential houses, which are divided into apartment properties and registered in the Cadastre by 31 December 2016 and for which the recalculating of the intended parts shall be performed (updating) and residential houses (including shares and cooperative houses) which are in the planned privatisation phase).

If there are several residential houses in the composition of the immovable property, they may be divided into apartment properties from 13 July 2017, if the residential houses have been entered in the Land Register by 31 December 2016 or the construction permit for which has been issued by 31 December 2016.
