In accordance with Cabinet of Ministers 2018 June 8 noteikumiem Nr. 494 “Waste transport arrangements” for recycling or recovery received municipal, industrial or hazardous waste for the electronic registration and record-keeping in the territory of Latvia shall be used for waste transport records (apus) State information systems. Apus manager is maintained by the State agency" Latvian Environment, geology and meteorology centre "(LVĢMC). LVĢMC APUS user on-line mode provides the following options: 1) electronically fill in the waste shipment registration kartes-pavadzīmes form notifying the planned shipment and its launch, the type and volume of transported waste; 2) approve the activities with other users, indicating the apus received, processed or recovered for municipal, industrial or hazardous waste, or reject it; 3) follow the calculated balance APUS (quantities of waste is in front of the user) of the user-specified APUS activities and services; 4) to consider the reports of the shipments of waste which is involved in the apus user; 5) retrieved from the APUS and above the data referred to in points 3) and 4).
