Service requests
Services can be received:
1. by entering into an agreement with the VZD on the use of web service. For conclusion of the contract, the application form must be completed (no signature required) and sent to the klienti@vzd.gov.lv e-mail (for an application to contact the corporate client and the share of the VZD when writing to e-mail: klienti@vzd.gov.lv or by telephone: 67038833 or 67038866).
The application must contain:
- all required data from the applicant;
- wEB service;
- payment terms - cost per day during which at least one connection to a Web service has been made or a constant monthly fee (fee not depending on the number of connections).
Using the information provided in the application, the NCD will prepare the draft contract, inform about the possibilities for signing it. If necessary, the NCD will contact the contact person indicated in the application to specify the necessary information.
The Agreement shall include provisions to be followed by the user of the geospatial data.
2. Via the National Unified Geospatial Information Portal Geolatvey. en. The service is available after payment if the recipient of the service has agreed to the terms contained in the license.
Possible types of data usage rules:
- the end user is allowed to use the data only for his or her own purposes without the right to use it for the supply of services or to transfer it for use to a third party;
- for the service provider, the rules allow the data to be used for its own purposes and to be included in the services provided, but without the right to transfer the dataset to a third party.
