Brief description:
Persons in need of a certificate of fluency in the official language proficiency examination may be settled in Riga, Liepaja, Rezekne and Daugavpils, Ventspils.
The knowledge of the official language has two parts - oral and written. Written part of the person to be completed by the reading test, write, test and listening test. Oral part of a person fulfils special runātprasmes inspection tasks.
Knowledge of the official language is divided into three language fluency levels:
A – a basic level;
B – Intermediate;
C – the highest level.
Information about the state language proficiency examination results person receives 15 working days of the State language proficiency test sort.

Any natural person. You can register a group of persons in cases where there is a legal person (company dealing with the Latvian language training) application.

Within one month after the result of the test of fluency in the person is entitled to lodge an appeal application. Parties shall examine the submission of appeal within ten working days.
Reminder
Warning
If the person has received the level of fluency in B (average) or C (higher) level of the official language certificate, it shall be used for naturalisation process.
