The municipality of Aluksne shall provide a guarantee for the receipt of a study credit and student credit for one academic bachelor's programmes, professional bachelor's programmes, a first-level vocational education programme or a second-level vocational higher education for a person under the age of 24, who is:
- a disabled person whose parents have died or one of the parents has been granted a Group I or Group II disability;
- a person from a multi-child family (3 and more children or persons under the age of 24) in which one of the family members is already a guarantor for a student family member.
In order to qualify for the receipt of a guarantee, the person must also be a citizen of Latvia or a person holding the passport of a non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia; he or she must have declared a place of residence in the territory of Aluksne county; he or she must have commenced studies and successfully undertook a study programme accredited by the State of Latvia.
