Brief description:
Herd: set of farm animals or aquaculture animal farms belonging to one owner.
Any legal or natural person who has a declared place of residence in Latvia and who has registered with PMLP shall be responsible for animals for a specified period or permanently.
One owner is only registered one herd.

A new herd can be registered: When reinstituting the www.ldc.gov.lv in the Single Login System, under Applications, attaching a completed Ganāmpulka card
or the user of the Electronic Login System (LAD EPS) of the Rural Support Service, a new herd may be registered online in the Ministry of Agriculture e-services system (ZM EPS).
Registration of a new herd shall be valid after its registration in LDC IS.
