The term of renewal in the Register of Medical Persons and Medical Aid Persons shall be five years from the day following the end of the term of registration, but not sooner than the date of notification of the decision regarding the renewal of a medical practitioner or a medical support person.

If, during the period of registration, a medical practitioner or a medical treatment support person acquires a medical practitioner's or medical support person's certificate, as the case may be, the Health Inspectorate shall extend the registration term in the relevant profession for a period of one year longer than the term of validity of the medical practitioner's or medical support person's certificate.

The health inspection must submit:
1.1. for the re-registration of a medical practitioner:
the application/form “Application for renewal or renewal of the register” and a copy of the supporting documents relating to the acquisition or development of professional knowledge or skills to be submitted, not earlier than 90 days and not later than 30 days before the end of the registration period:
• Physician, dentist, doctor's assistant (feldscher), pharmacist's assistant, radiologist's assistant, biomedical technician, masseur, dentist, physiotherapist, audiologopic, ergotherapist, technical orthopae, optometrista, physiotherapist assistant, nutritionist, dental technician, in the profession of a polydologist, radiographic, art therapist, military paramedicist, beauty specialist (cosmetology), at least 150 academic hours during the period of registration, including the development of professional knowledge in the provision of emergency medical assistance or a copy of the document regarding the successful completion of the professional fitness check in the profession;
• in the profession of assistant dentist, nurse, midwife or nursing assistant - at least 100 academic hours during the period of registration, including the development of professional knowledge in the provision of emergency medical assistance or a copy of the document on the successful completion of the professional fitness check in the profession.

Military paramedics shall, in addition to the application/form “Application for renewal or renewal of the register”, submit approval of the Joint Headquarters of the National Armed Forces.

The application shall be submitted not earlier than 90 days and not later than 30 days before the end of the registration period.

When appealing to medical practitioners and medical treatment support persons must present a valid personal identification document and present the original documents.
